Sautéed Chard: The Side You Didn’t Know You Were Missing!

  1. In a large sauté pan, add the olive oil and turn heat to medium-high
  2. Add the sliced shallots and grape tomatoes to the pan
  3. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder
  4. Stir ocassionally and sauté until the tomatoes have burst and shallots have softened but haven’t caramelized
  5. Add the washed chard (Be sure you dry it before adding to the pan)
  6. Sauté until the chard has wilted (about 5 minutes)
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately
Recipe Notes

*When prepping the chard, you may leave the stems intact and serve in the dish or remove them and use only the leaf.  Either way is delicious.  If you choose to use the stems, add the chard to the pan when you add the shallots and tomatoes.
