Beef and Broccoli Recipe: Slow Cooker or Instant Pot!

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Wash all produce
  2. Dice ginger root; set aside
  3. Half and slice onion; set aside
  4. Slice garlic; set aside
  5. Cut broccoli into large chunks; set aside
  6. Cut pineapple into chunks; set aside
  7. Add roast to instant pot
  8. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes
  9. Add tamari sauce, pineapple juice, pineapple chunks, broccoli, ginger, onion, and garlic
  10. Cook on low for 6 hours
  11. Remove roast and cut into chunks/ strips (if needed) and place back into sauce
  12. Last 30 minutes, make rice noodles according to package directions
  13. While noodles are cooking, make a slurry with 1/4 cup water and 1/4 gf cornstarch
  14. Add to instant pot and stir
  15. Turn instant pot to saute to thicken sauce quicker*
  16. Stiring occasionally
  17. Serve beef and broccoli over rice noodles and garnish with white sesame seeds

*If using a slow cooker, stir in slurry.  Cover and cook on high for 20 more minutes
